The Shenandoah Community School District is seeking qualified applicants for:

Director of Maintenance & Operations

This position offers competitive pay & benefits.

Prospective candidates must possess solid technical knowledge and demonstrate an understanding of various types of equipment, systems, and facilities.

This includes electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and more.

Additionally, the candidate should have the ability to lead a team, delegate work assignments, and oversee assigned personnel.

The work would entail directing the scheduling and operation of work crews in the custodial department, requisitioning materials, tools, and equipment or technical specifications needed to complete work, and supervising and inspecting all work performed.

It also involves developing and executing maintenance programs, working with contractors, and managing the fleet of vehicles (buses and small vehicles).

The employee must exercise considerable independent judgment and initiative in performing assigned duties while adhering to safety standards.

Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Relevant training and experience will be considered.
